Does This Sound Familiar?

The PM program is getting done. But is it creating the value it should?

The equipment is being maintained. But are we doing the right work?

Maintenance is keeping the equipment running. How do we show what that's worth?

PM compliance tells you the work was completed. It doesn't tell you whether that work is increasing equipment availability, productive capacity, or maintenance value.

PM programs change over time. Tasks get added, copied, modified, and carried forward. Eventually, it becomes difficult to know whether every task still has a clear technical purpose.

The maintenance team sees the work that keeps production available. PMPA helps connect that work to evidence leadership can use to understand maintenance value and, where supported, potential profit.

From PM Activity to Business Value

A PMPA starts with the maintenance program you already have and follows the evidence from the work being performed to the value that work contributes to the business.

Existing PM Program → Technical Assessment → Supported Findings → Maintenance Opportunity → Potential Profit

The result is a defensible assessment of what is working, what can be improved, and — where the evidence supports it — what those opportunities may be worth to the business.

Submitted PM tasks, frequencies, procedures, and available supporting information.

Evaluated across 14 areas covering technical completeness, execution readiness, maintenance effectiveness, safety, work controls, and business value.

Findings are evaluated against the submitted evidence and applicable technical frameworks, including ISO 14224, ISO 17359, IEC 60812, RCM, and condition-based maintenance principles.

Specific opportunities are classified as IMPROVE or VALIDATE rather than assuming every finding requires a change.

When the evidence supports it, opportunities are quantified using customer-provided labor and productive downtime values.

What You Get in a PMPA

PM Program Assessment

A documented assessment of the submitted PM program showing where the work is technically supported and where specific gaps were identified.

Task-Level Results

PASS, FAIL, VALIDATE, or N/A conclusions with the finding, why it matters, and the evidence supporting the result.

Improvement & Validation Findings

Specific IMPROVE and VALIDATE findings showing where the program has supported opportunities for stronger maintenance effectiveness.

Execution & Work-Control Findings

Documented findings covering execution readiness, acceptance criteria, finished conditions, operating state, safety controls, and work-control boundaries.

Financial Analysis

Supported opportunities quantified using customer-provided labor and productive downtime values, including potential profit when a defensible calculation can be made.

Customer Decision Summary

A clear summary of what is working, what warrants improvement or validation, and the evidence leadership can use to decide what happens next.

See What a PMPA Finds in Your PM Program

Submit one asset's complete PM program and receive a complimentary PMPA sample based on your own maintenance data.

The sample includes selected technical findings and financial analysis where supported by the available evidence, giving you a real look at what PMPA can identify in your existing program.

One complimentary PMPA sample per organization.
